What about the 7-0 Titans?the mighty, mighty Titans? This Jeff Fisher-led team is No. 1 in the division, No. 1 in the league and No. 1 in the power rankings. To all you critics: “Ha”!
Tennessee has the best defense in the game, a superior run attack, and Smelly Collins is doing more than just managing games. Also add in the clutch kicking of Rob, and then factor in the best coaching in the game, and you’ve got a prideful group of 7-0 Titans, men among men.
Sorry Rocky Top faithful, the people of Tennessee ain’t bleeding orange anymore. This circus that ringleader Fulmer is leading is a damn embarrassment. I know my veins a bleed a code blue, a sexy shade of blue, and I invite you, Rocky Top faithful, to join me on the other side, the grass is a little greener over here.
Monday night’s game against the Colts was over when Chris Johnson broke free for a 16-yard touchdown, one play after Chris Hope intercepted Peyton for the second time that night. That score put the mighty Titans up 31-14 with just under 4 minutes left.
Here’s a few stats for ya homie? the Titans have scored 180 points this season, with their opponents scoring only 87 points up to this point. The defense is dominating the stats in the league. We lead in takeaways: 16; this stingy defense is allowing only 12.4 points a game to the opponent. The big boy Lendale is leading the league with 10 touchdowns and the best double bounce-bump touchdown celebration in the game. Let’s take Michael Griffin and Courtland leading the league with each defender having four interceptions each. “They’ve got big guys; they are playing to their size and strength.”
Up to this point in the season my M.V.P. in the league would go to Clinton Portis, leading the league with 944 yards, plus 7 touchdowns. My rookie M.V.P. was a mix-up with Matt Ryan and Chris Johnson, it looks like the quick stud is running away with that award.
And how do you take Mike Singletary’s rant, do you believe that he is a breed of no-nonsense coaching, or just being too brutal?
