It’s now that time of year when all homes and businesses should have a paranormal inspection done, just to be on the safe side. Then, if a haunting is present you can advertise that you have a ghost as a tourist attraction for those interested in such a thing. Or, better yet, if paranormal activity does not register, you can be certified ghost-free!

Well, the rookie won his first fantasy game and was just one point away from being the only undefeated team in the league after the opening 4 weeks.
It really changes the way you watch a game; the fantasy enthusiast wants the opposing team to score so their guy has a chance to get back involved in the game, or doesn’t care in the least what the outcome of a game is, as long as so-and-so gets at least their 60 yards rushing; or has ill will and wishes for injury for the players on the opposing team’s roster.
Fantasy is all about the individual. Football is all about the team. The true fans know; it’s about following through with your assignment, working together, communication, preparation, pushing yourself to do better, putting the team first. You may be blocking someone far away from the play, the quarterback throws a 74-yard touchdown to the star wide-out, and no one knows your name, but your blocking assignment didn’t get a sack and sometimes all of the behind-the-scenes things are the reason something can be a grand success.
Probably for the rest of my life now Jr. will have more energy, speed and endurance then me. Old dad is getting slower and more joint pain as the years pass; keeping up with a little, active guy will require some focus, training and fitness in itself.
As a team, it is all about the victory, but it’s not earth shattering winning and losing a charity dodge ball game. Yeah, The Pulse team has plenty of areas for improvements, but don’t say we can’t count. That’s when it gets insulting. And we’ll not be insulted.
But you can’t dwell in the past; your editor is onto the next assignment. Still, the one-point loss is a heartbreaker.
