National Cyber Security Alliance Brings Cyber Summit to Fountains at Gateway on Sept. 22

Fountains at Gateway will host the National Cyber Security Alliance’s 2018 Middle Tennessee Small Business Cyber Summit on Saturday, Sept. 22.

The day will feature the National Cyber Security Alliance’s interactive CyberSecure My Business Workshop, which helps businesses and nonprofits:

· Identify which assets others want
· Protect those assets
· Detect when something has gone wrong
· Respond quickly with an action plan
· Recover from a breach

Nutanix will provide a technology bootcamp, a great way to learn about the industry’s leading hyper-converged infrastructure solutions. This bootcamp will be tailored specifically for government and education, and will begin at 11:15 a.m.

Technology vendors will attend the event to share information about their organizations, and on technology jobs currently available.

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology and Middle Tennessee State University will be on hand to provide information about pursuing a degree in technology.

The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring will have their Discovery Bus parked at Fountains at Gateway so the kids in attendance can learn about technology.

The day will include food trucks and a DJ.

The event is free, though organizers ask those attending the workshops and the bootcamp to register at eventbrite.com.

Fountains at Gateway is located at 1500 Medical Center Pkwy., Murfreesboro.
