Murfreesboro’s International Folkloric Society, a nonprofit organization formed in 1986, welcomes musicians and dancers from around the world from June 7–14. Since its inception in 1982, the International Folkfest has welcomed 6,000 dancers and musicians from over 50 countries to our community.
With the festival theme song, “Let There Be Peace on Earth (Let It Begin With Me)” more relevant today than ever, be a part of this unique experience once again this June.
This year’s troupes from France, Germany and Croatia will join the host Cripple Creek Cloggers and the Slim Chance Band in providing several evening performances free of charge and open to the public.
