Malco Summer Film Fest to Benefit Children’s Hospitals

This summer Malco Roxy Smyrna Cinema, and other Malco Theatres across the mid-South, will let “Kids Help Kids” through its 2009 Kids Summer Film Fest.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday through July 29, the theater will play favorite kids movies for just $2 per ticket.

Over the past 10 years, the festival has raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, Miss.

Shows start at 10 a.m. The theater is located at 100 Movie Row just off Sam Ridley Parkway. For more information, call (615) 232-6252 or visit malco.com.

June 2 – 3: Alvin and the Chipmunks

June 9 – 10: Nim’s Island

June 16 – 17: Kung Fu Panda

June 23 – 24: Space Chimps

June 30 – July 1: Over the Hedge

July 7 – 8: The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything: A Veggie Tales Movie

July 14 – 15: The Tale of Despereaux

July 21 – 22: Horton Hears a Who

July 28 – 29: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa
