Mama Gator to Speak in Murfreesboro

As mother of Florida Gators quarterback and first sophomore ever to win the Heisman trophy, Mrs. Tebow has received national acclaim for her faith, community involvement and parenting skills. Among her experiences are living in the Philippines as a missionary, choosing not to terminate her pregnancy with Tim against strict doctor’s orders to do so and raising and home schooling five children who all received college scholarships.
Pam Tebow has traveled all over the country discussing topics such as using influence wisely, being a mom for all seasons and living life in the midst of a storm. Tebow is also writing a book about parenting.
The Special Kids’ banquet will be at Calvary Baptist Church on Tuesday, Aug. 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call (615) 893-4892 or visit specialkidstn.com.

For those interested in lending a hand, there are some jobs that folks can help with. Volunteers are also needed to help sort and package the shoes. The shoe drive is a great volunteer opportunity for youth groups or those wanting to be involved in the community.
