I love The Pulse, but sometimes an event occurs that I’ve wanted to see who the ‘creators’ are. I’m a performing songwriter (in several jenres) and often times wonder who puts these events together. Many times over, it seems, the event is rather ‘closed’ and ‘networking’ isn’t of value to the creators of these events and they are strictly money driven. Even the Rutherford County Center for the Arts is ‘guilty’ of this (personal experience). Long story short is the support for the music isn’t what it could be. Even with a Recording Industry Management Collegiate division, the ‘mentorship’ that could be gained by people succeeding in the field could greatly enhance young careers. I love The Pulse, but some ‘connecting information’ would be very helpful.
