Football Fans can Win Big on Monday Nights

Marty Visser with Bobby McKee's server Casey Flannery

Every Monday night, Bobby McKee’s Irish Pub offers those watching Monday Night Football an opportunity to win $5,000—if the second-half kickoff is run back for a touchdown.

Football fans must arrive before the game starts to drop an entry form into a bucket for one of the teams playing. If that team returns the second-half kickoff for a touchdown, a random winner is selected from that team’s bucket.

On Oct. 4, Marty Visser was among those who dropped an entry into the New England Patriot’s side, and later that evening, Brandon Tate of the Patriots took the second-half kickoff 103 yards for a score against the Dolphins. Visser’s name was drawn as the winner, and he was later presented a check for $5,000.

The contest will run every Monday night through Dec. 27 at Bobby McKee’s.
